    Jessie and the Crazy Classified Animals is the creation of students in a multi-grade classroom ranging from grades 1-8. Students spent several weeks learning about classification of the animal kingdom with the goal of writing this book. The students created the characters, wrote the text, did all the editing, and used graphic software to create the pictures in the book. The goal of their teacher was to convince his students taht both writing and science can be fun. After they finished the book, they decided to publish it as a fundraiser for their school, Frontenac Elementary in upstate New York, as well as to show other students that science can be fun.
