  • The Stolen Dragon

    Elli Davis

    eBook (, Nov. 4, 2016)
What if there are dragons that like to sing? Dragons like opera singers? What if there are dragons worth so much that some people want to steal them as eggs. The Vikings like dragons, because they bring good luck. But dragons are also scary. The best way to get your own dragon is to get it when they are just hatched. In this fairy tale, the dragon family has suffered a great loss: The horrible Vikings have stolen one of their precious eggs. The dragons were desperate. The Vikings were superstitious: they believed that the dragon egg will bring good luck to them because the dragons were powerful creatures. They believed that the dragon’s blood could heal wounds and diseases, and that dragon’s claws were so strong that they can cut stone and even metal. The dragons looked everywhere for the missing egg, but they could not find it. They did not know where the Vikings had traveled and what had happened to the egg. The missing egg belonged to a specific clan of dragons: their specialty was singing. There were not many of them, and thus, they were worried if anyone of them went missing.Aurea, the lost dragon, was born far away. She did not know anything about her dragon clan and where they lived. A wolf family took care of her, but she knows she did not belong there. She was alone, and far away from home. Will she ever find back home?

  • A Merry Mischief

    David Ellis

    eBook (, Sept. 9, 2019)
On a freezing Christmas Eve, in a place not very far, and in a time not long forgotten, fourteen-year-old Samuel takes himself early to his bed with pleasant ruminations of the following morning. Having eaten one too many of his Mother’s mince pies, and sneaked a surreptitious sip or two of his Father’s sherry, he has no reason to harbour anything in his breast but festive cheer as he slips gracefully into a yuletide slumber. He is therefore naturally alarmed, on rousing from his sleep, to discover he has been inexplicably removed from his bed, restrained to a chair, and playing the unwitting host to three nightmarish entities consumed with one passion, namely Mischief, and that at his expense. The poor boy discovers he is at the mercy of the Mischief Makers, a grisly threesome led by the cruel ‘Elder’ who, with the help (or rather hindrance) of his two hapless companions, wastes no time in attempting to bribe, bully, and bewilder young Samuel in order to fulfil their age-old endeavour: turning a child from his love of Christmas. Can the lad resist their pernicious ploys or will evil ultimately triumph over good? Either way, this will be a Christmas Eve never to be forgotten.
  • Princess Nine

    Elli Davis

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, July 25, 2016)
Princess Nine is a fairytale of a cursed princess and her heroic struggle against unchangeable, cursed fate. An angry witch called Lorella had laid a curse on Princess Nine. When Princess Nine had cried inconsolably she had disturbed Lorella's sleep, and Lorella had decided to curse Nine. She had used an old nursery rhyme: as a curse: "Hey diddle, diddle, the cat and the fiddle, the cow jumped over the moon; the little dog laughed to see such a sport, and the dish ran away with the spoon." Lorella's curse was also a prophecy. When Princess Nine were able to find the missing plates and spoons then she would find her parents and live with them again. But until that day, she would continue crying. So begins this richly entertaining story of Princess Nine, who wants nothing more than to be able to find the plates and the spoons, her parents, and stop crying. Against a bold tapestry of elves, witches, harpies and other creatures, Nine's feisty account of her quest to break the curse is an enchanting fairy tale about an unforgettable heroine who is determined to find the cure and her birth parents.

  • Princess Nine's adventures

    Elli Davis

    (, Jan. 3, 2018)
Princess Nine was born in a royal carriage far away from the palace. She was adopted by a local witch. When she was five years old she was bewitched by an elderly witch. This is how Princess Nine describes herself: I’m not like the other, pretty princesses. Anyone can be a princess in a fancy dress, but it is a great deal more of a challenge to be one when no one sees but a crying girl in rags and bare feet. I had to travel to the end of the world and under the sea to find the cure for my curse. I was sick in my heart to find out that my own sister had schemed against me. How can she be so mean and cold when she has never even met me? She was desperate to stop me and wanted to be the only heir of the kingdom by all means necessary. She sent for the harpies in hope that they would kill me or take me to Medusa’s island.
