This story begins with a man named Doctor Burke. He is the head of the "Science Incorporated Club in Kansas." or otherwise, the S. I. C. K. but not only is he a man that discovered a red dot on a globe, but he is also a stepfather to a spoiled British boy named Simon. This kid has no idea what he is in for after he is forced to spend the weekend with his crazy stepfather, which he soon figures out he is never seeing him again. And it is all because of a genius scientist named Doctor Yu with her failed machine, a psycho kid, and a red dot that is a lot more dangerous than what Simon bargained for... after he ends up inside of it.

Rich and famous Doctor Burke and other scientists decide to come into the red dot to make a civilization called Port Town. Much to the Juanita and Massowomick tribe’s dismay. Meanwhile, after twelve years of living in the red dot, Simon has three children. His two oldest sons, Soy Ember and Falcon, along with their best friend Pretty Eyes, are all eager to grow up and help one another do so. But all their dreams and even their friendship take a terrible turn. It all leads to Falcon’s accident, Soy Ember’s new coming as a warrior, and Pretty Eyes finding out that she was adopted and running away out of anger; finding herself in Port Town and becoming one of their people. Will Falcon ever get past his terrible tragedy? Will Soy Ember do well as a man? Will Pretty Eyes’ tribe and parents find out about her being a traitor? Overall, everyone realizes; that living in the red dot is a lot harder than what they ever fathomed.
