Tears of Satpura is a story of Somali and Runjan, aborigines of the Satpura valley in Madhya Pradesh. The writer brings to the surface, their agony, woes and the suffering meted out to them by the government forest officers and rangers, who squeeze them mercilessly for their own ends. But the aborigines unable to seek justice against the wrong doers mainly because of their illiteracy, coupled with poverty. The novel will make the reader introspect and make him realize that there are innumerable Somalis and Runjans who are epitomized by Somali and Runjan.
