Doodles Lanhorn is a red-headed boy of thirteen who doesn’t feel very popular or successful but he does have a special talent: he has recently discovered the powers of Wizartry, the art of drawing something and making it come to life. Doodles learns that he is unique because he does not need a paintbrush like most Wizarts; he can draw with just the use of his hands. In this new novel, Doodles must face old enemies, rescue his family, and ultimately save Inner Earth, the sacred land of the Wizarts. With the help of his friends Laura, Darren, and Boogley, a very special creature, Doodles is able to overcome his fears and face these obstacles head on.
Author Russell D. Bernstein has a Masters in Organizational Leadership and extensive experience in the healthcare field. Russell has used that knowledge as background for his writing and his talks at schools.
