Evie and Trooper are two little kids trapped on a magical train. How did they get there? How will they escape?


...She liked the idea of stepping off, the possibilities that awaited her once she chose a destination and then stuck with it. She liked the thought of a solid, stable ground, the sound of the breeze, the ability to stand still and not move at the same time. She liked the idea, but the reality didn’t suit her, at least not at the moment, at least not anymore.
When you live on a train, no two moments are you in the same place. You will eat breakfast looking out over the ocean, have lunch while you glide by a pasture full of cows, and enjoy your dinner in a dark and cold forest all while traveling a steady forty miles per hour. That is, if you live on a normal train.
Evie lived on an enchanted train. If you asked her how she got on the train, she would politely answer you, “I can’t seem to remember.”...
