A lonely young girl named Kellie loves to hang out at a local graveyard. She frequently goes there to visit some children’s tombstones. One day after being harassed in school by a girl named Mindy, Kellie goes to the graveyard to talk to one of the deceased children named Jacob Winters about her problem. She is shocked when Jacob suddenly appears. He wants to help her out by scaring Mindy. Kellie is even more startled when several other deceased children appear. They have been watching Kellie at the cemetery and want to get to know her. As Kellie gets to know the ghosts better, she comes to realize how much they are helping her loneliness, and she decides to do something for them in return.
